1993sho climate control system

I own a 1993 sho with climate control system. It seems that everything works except when you adjust the temp on the control temp this will not change the overall temp at all, 90degrees still feels like about 60-65. I just started with you guys today and I read a form with a person SHOZ123 and read the blog but, I don't know if you have the car running or not
also do you hold down the buttons for up to 20 seconds or let them go after 2 seconds. Also, where the heck is the COOLER button????? I'm in the process of putting on new struts, brakes, wheels, paint, just installed new stereo with 2 8" subs with about 1,500 watts. Everything works and I found the car in a small city in Kansas, it was in his garage for 4 years and bought it for $100.00. it's very clean but I'm changing all the fluids too.
