hey guys,
is there a way to check the soleniod to see if they are working. i have a 97 4.6 the front tires will not engage. i have read alot of the questions and answers that have been giving. it seems i either have bad soleniod or vaccume leak. is that correct. any help would be great. thanks jamie

Easiest way is to disconnect the vacuum lines and inspect them, have seen ones where battery acid eats through the lines causing no 4x4 engagement. Then check vacuum coming out of solenoids when you engage of disengage 4WD.
