I have a 98 explorer sport 4.0 (X). All of a sudden it sounds like a vacuum cleaner under the hood when it is running (high pitch whine). I disconnected the air filer housing, and it is coming from inside the air intake tube. Any ideas, is it good ,bad or doesn't matter?
