My 99 f-250 runs like a top, and is always taken care of, yesterday there was a giant rainstorm i was cought out in and went through several deep puddles, and lots of splashing . On the way home i was pulling out onto the road , and suddenly felt quite a bit of hesitation. No engine lights are on, and everything seems okay, but still the hesitation when i accelerate. I took to ford, and they couldnt tell me anything without an inspection and a fortune that i just dont have at the moment. I had the oil changed for good measure, and they didnt find water in the oil or anything. Will the car dry up on its own? Is there anything i can do myself? Please help!
