Ive heard a lot about amsoil from different people. Looking for some input to see if it indeed is worth the extra money? Right now Im just using Rotella T on my 6.0 diesel.

I have used and swear by amsoils lubricants/filters. I use there oil/filters in everything I own. Amsoil is also the only company that offers a synthetic oil filter for the 6.0L. Amsoil and donaldson also came up with a direct replacement filter the is a little better than the already very good stock filter. I have used the amsoil products in gasoline engines, diesel engines, 2-stroke atv, 4-stroke atv, weed whackers, snowmobiles, ect.... I have a 2003 ford ranger with 62,300 miles on it. I installed one of amsoil's duel remote by-pass filters on it when it had 1,700 miles on it. I use there 0W30 oil and with there new EA series filters, I replace both the full flow and the by-pass filter ever 20,000 miles. At that time I top the oil off to get it up to the full mark on the dipstick. My drainplug in the oilpan has not been out since the original 1,700 mile change. I was using blackstone labs to do an oil analysis every 8,000 miles, but the tests kept comming back with great results, so I quit using them to save a little cash/hassle. They proved that at least 20,000 miles on my filters was fine with the current condition of my engine. Thats enough for me to believe in amsoil's products. I will continue to change my filters in the ranger at 20,000 mile intervals and send a sample to blackstone labs once a year or so just to be safe.
Another thing, if you choose to try the amsoil product do not pay retail prices. If interested, let me know. I can save you quite a bit on there products.

I am an AMSOIL Dealer out of Michigan and also swear by their products. I have used AMSOIL 10w-30 in my Explorer that now has 105,000 miles on it and I hope to drive the thing into the ground. They are great products, might be more expensive than other brands, but it will all pay off in the long run.

I haven't used AMSOIL in my diesel yet (just got it), but all my cars and motorcycles use it. The last 3 automobiles I have had had over 300,000 miles and still going strong. One of them I sold to a friend of mine and it has over 400,000 miles now (F-150 with 300 cuid).
My first oil change since I got this diesel is coming up and I have the AMSOIL oil filter by-pass system I will be installing at that time.
