its been a ten year horror show with my 97 taurus v6 duratec. for years you would turn the key and sometimes just dead. finallly i picked up on intellidata the car had issues with bad battery wires. so i changed them still bad news. i finally found my battery was somewhat shorted at two cells and changed it and it was great for a while. now its shorted again. my mechanic now says the original bad wires killed the voltage regulater and it is overcharging the battery so to fix this issue we need to change the alternator and battery again. maybe hayapower knows about this syndrome. im a disabled vet in a wheelchair and this is killing me.
