Anyone know where I can get access to body trim or any/all other types of replacement parts for a 2001 Explorer Sport online?? I would rather not have to deal with a dealership about getting new replacement parts, but I guess I will if there is really no other option.

Rebuilding a wreck?
Trim pieces usually aren't available aftermarket, sheet metal, lighting, brite work, structural pieces are.. What parts do you need?

The molding on the base of both doors is coming loose and look like they are about to fall off. Also the back bumper is starting to chip paint, but I think I can find a replacement rear bumper. It's the molding that I have been unsuccessful finding.

Ford.com might have them - or go to an online search engine like looksmart.com and type in what you need in three or four words or less and it should show you a whole list of online retailers. Have you tried calling around to local salvage yards? If the tape on the back of them coming loose is the only problem - a body shop shouldn't charge too much to replace just the tape OR you could go to a paint and body parts retailer and buy the double-sided trim adhesive tape and cut off the old stuff yourself (takes a while) and replace it (just be sure not to pull off the paint with the old trim tape- it must be carefully cut loose and when you put the new stuff on make sure you have it clean and lined up straight the first time. Good luck.
