a/c not blowing cold air

hi all quick question wife has a 98 taurus only has 60k miles on it and the a/c lines are all cold and sweating like they are working but no cold air anyone have an idea??????

Make sure the temp selector is on cold.Then put it on panel and see if it blows cold air threw the panel.If not it has a internal problem in the heater a/c control box.Providing the a/c is on.

so put the ac on max air? then on panel if it doesnt blow cold air any suggestions on fixing it without taking to shop or is that outta the question

You can try the fuse to see if it blown. But from what you told me it sound's like the compressor is working.

thats cool soon as she gets home i will check it yeah i think the compresser is wroking the lines are all cold just not blowing cold air

It could be the Servo® motor that controls the temp select. You can find these cheap at junk yard if you can get it yourself. You should not have to pay more than 5 -10 bucks. New, they are like 200-300 clams. Hope this helps.

thanks alot actually i fixed it there is a lever right by the heater core that was stuck open or closed whichever it was i unstuck the lever must have opend the door for the cold air thanks again for the help
