Post the EXACT code number. It will give us a place to start, but first thing to do is check to see if gas cap is tight.

I CHECKED THE GAS CAP IT WAS TIGHT BUT I REPLACED IT ANYWAY. THE CODE NUMBER IS 1451 ANY IDEAS.AND THANK YOU FOR REPLING

If your code number is correct the code is
P1451
Lack Of Response From Passive Anti-Theft System Module, Engine Disabled
This means the vehicle will not start.
If the code begins with a 0 it is
P0451
Fuel Tank Pressure Circuit Noisy
There is a sensor on the fuel tank that will cause that code.

I'M USING A STRINGER OBDII CODE READER AND THE CODE COMES UP P1451 AND THE DEFINITION OF THE CODE FROM THE BOOK READS (EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM VENT CONTROL CIRCUIT ) SORRY FOR NOT POSTING MY QUESTION IN CORRECT DETAIL THE FIRST TIME. ALSO MY CAR DOESN'T HAVE AN ANTI THEFT SYSTEM INSTALLED.THANK YOU CAN HELP ME OUT
