My Grandfather recently passed and was in the Navy during World War II as well as having owed several auto shops and salvage yards in his life. While cleaning out his apt we found a wooden box with the Ford logo carved into the side of it and has metal fastenings on one of the side. I was hoping that someone could help me identify it. I have search the internet with no success. Thanks in advance to everyone...

IS there anything inside? I have never seen anything like it. May be an antique.

It's a vintage ignition coil box.. Maybe a model T?

There doesn't seem to be a way to open it as there are dovetail joints all the way around. It is quite heavy for it's size though. I'm at work, but if I had to guess it would be about 4.5" wide x 5" tall x 6.5" long.
