Help with camshaft sprocket timing

Changing the timing belt on 87 2.0.  The cam sprocket does not line up perfectly with the center of the three marks.  It points more to between the left two marks.  Am I still good?  If I move it one notch it would point to the middle of the right two marks.  Thanks for any help clearing this up.
