Help with purchase!

well heres a quick update.. i was supposed to purchase a crown vic with like 170k on it however the guy emails me and tells me that the exhaust manifold was starting to go and he was gonna replace it.. calls me the next day to tell me they replaced it but the engine siezed after the install... so he says he located an engine with 80k on it.. what would you guys do?? to me it sounds like a problem car but then i started to think that maybe the vehicle will be free from any defects now that a newer engine is being put in.. should i go for it or find a another vehicle?

I think I would find another vehicle.  Go to places like www.publicsurplus.com  or www.govdeals.com and see what is there.

Run, don't walk ,away from that vehicle! There are better vehicles out there than that one!
