if i unplug the resinator from the air box will the check engin light go on let me know
and if the check engin light does go on when i plub back the resinator will it shut off

Resonator I know does nothing but even out airflow (not important).

I doubt it. Unless it has wiring connected or sensors it's a secondary deal.

Does the air filter box have a wired in sensor?

The Mas Air Flow (MAF) sensor and the Intake Air Temp (IAT) are incorporated into the same sensor mounted into the intake stream.. If you unplug this sensor and run/attempt to run the engine, the CEL will illuminate and set a DTC.. The code and light can be cleared by just disconnecting the battery.. Although if a diagnostic scan is needed or done, it won't 'complete' the diagnostic test until normal driving strategies are met and diagnostic monitors have reset.. In short, it would need to be driven for some extended miles to read or check for trouble codes..
