hello,
I'm new to this forum, and am looking for help on my wife's 03 expedition (eddie bauer). I want to change the cabin air filter, but can't seem to locate it. The guy at NAPA who sold me a NAPA Gold paper filter told me that it was under the glove box, but after taking 6 screws out and nothing budged, I thought i'd ask you guys.
thanks for your help!

I do not think that the Expedition has a cabin air filter. I can find no reference to one in the manual.

Confirmed. Expeditions does not come from factory furnished with a cabin filter. The passenger side footwell has a slot for installing an aftermarket if you wish. Look at the 1" wide slot just adjacent to the carpeted firewall. This panel has two tiny hex heads. Ford sells a cabin filter for an outrageous $60 pricetag; auto parts outlet has them for $12. Forum posts show that the F-150 also has a similar filterless condition.

That's interesting to know! I'm going to check it out on mine this weekend.
Curiously, I did find that if you have the heated/cooled front seats, there are filters for those that install under the seats.
