Mark VIII Air Ride Suspension

My dads 93 Mark VIII looks like a low rider. The other day he drove it to work, the suspension was working fine. Came outside after work and it looked like it had been slammed to the ground. Tried driving home to see if it would pump back up but it wouldn't. I popped the hood and if i listen kinda down by the passenger headlight it sounds like a compressor is pumping air. But the car won't pump back up. I have checked the switch in the trunk and it is in the ON position. Any idears?

Most likely the rear air bags are bad. See if you can hear an air leak in the back when the compressor is running. It won't be real loud but you should be able to hear something if you get close.

Same old story, rear airbags in fords seem to have this problem all the time.
