My dad just gave me a 1990 F-250 Lariat XLT (supercab, longbed 4x4 460 EFI) and i plan on just using it for the sand dunes. but when i looked up the specs it only has 230 HP (lots of torque though) so what can i do to the engine to give it more HP because i dont plan on pulling any trailers. i have looked all over the internet but i can only find parts for the carb edition of the 460. (i know this isnt the greatest truck to take off-road because of its length, but hey, it was given to me) i plan on putting a 6" lift with some 36 tires. this truck is a slug but will pull anything

You should be able to put a chip in that truck. This link doesn't offer to much info. on this chip but the company does make one for your vehicle. Other than this, I'm not to sure what other bolt on products my work..... Aluminum heads.... those bolt on!!!
http://hypertech.com/product_searchvehicle.html But seriously, for some reason I have had the same problem finding aftermarket products for the 460. Just a builder I geuss....

CAI and a tuner would do it for you. There are a few tuner makers. I would do some research. You have Bullydog and Superchips as well as posted above.
Give Dave's guys a call they have a wealth of info and services that will make your Ford do lots of things.
