like a banging noise when i make a right turn. passed inspection recently. what do you think.

Something is worn or loose or broken in the front end.
Take it for an alignment they will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong.
And they should not charge you if it's not alignable.

I have a 2000 Taurus with 107K and I just had the tie rods replaced from similar symptoms. Can't comment on the tire wear yet, but the banging noise is gone. Actually, it was more of a rattle than a bang. My other car has a bang from loose shocks that lost their grommet. Those are two things you could check.
