Rust.. how bad is this..

ok so the car im looking at has some rust.. i know i know.. i was always told to stay away from rust however this doesnt look all that bad.. before i go to my father who is in the auto body business i first figured id ask here.. anyone know how bad this rust is.. iv seen cars that had holes in the side get repaired pretty easily.. just wondering how much work it would take to get this fixed.. thanks for any input..
