ive had problems for years with the car not starting and then starting after you turn the key a few times. finally after many many repairs electrical guy found the battery was shorted at a few cells new battery no more problems than a few months later the batter was shorted again and the same no start and you turn the key ap and few times and its ok. now he tells me he thinks the alternator is messed up and the voltage regulator in the alternator is the cause. wants to change alternator and new battery again. any thoughts. yuk
