My high beam (turn signal) will lock forward but the high beams do not come on. The only way the high beams work is if I pull the turn signal back and hold it back. If I let it go the high beams turn off.

The switch sounds like it is broken - replace it. Pulling back is the flash for the high beams and is normal (used to flash high beams if someone's blinding you).
