Default Fiesta MK4 STILL doing my head in..

Yes, believe it or not my Fiesta MK4 1.3 i is still not running. To recap, car starts ok,revs die down after a few seconds, runs rough, smells gassy, drinks fuel,if driven will cut out and refuse to restart. First diagnosis( mechanicīs hand-held diagnostic computer) was "throttle position sensor",new one fitted,no change.Since then; MAP sensor, air idle valve, fuel pressure regulator, lambda sensor, engine temp.sensor, injection wiring loom, injectors&distributor pack( tested )ht leads, plugs and the ECU(replaced). Car is still the same, any new ideas?

Has your mechanic done a compression test?

Sounds like your engine is running rich

Did you test the fuel pressure?
Did you check the fuel pressure regulator? If the membrane is broken extra fuel goes into the intake manifold and could flood your engine. Take off the vacuum line and see if it smells like fuel.
