My 1963 Fairlane has a weird turn signal issue that I have not been able to resolve, and I'm hoping for some guidance from the knowing masses.


If I indicate left, the front light blinks, the back light does nothing. If you indicate right, the front light does nothing and the back light blinks.


Brake lights work just fine, as do parking lights.


I replaced the blinker module behind the instrument panel, and no change. The fuses are all OK, and my next guess would be the blinker switch in the steering column. I just bought a puller so I can investigate the switch, but thought I would ask here as well.

Sadly, life is in the way, and I have not made any progress. My plan is to go ahead and replace the blinker switch in the steering column. I'll definitely post any resolution. Thanks for checking in!
