Ford falcon EB
hey guy's I have a Ford Falcon EB and I have a slight problem. the central locking system is acting wierd when you lock it by the driver's side it will not lock it will sit there and go up and down non stop and when it does stop it still is not locked. yet you can lock it by the passenger side and it does not play up it locks straight away.. any idea on why it does this and or maybe how to fix the problem???

RE: Ford falcon EB
You realize in the US the Falcon was around in the 1960's, and four wheel drives have wheel locks (locking hubs)? If you have a new falcon specify the year and lock type (door lock here I assume?). Assuming it's door locks - could be a bad ground, bad switch on the side acting weird, bad door lock motor, or a bad wire. I would rule out the motor on the basis that the other lock switch operates it properly. Likely bad switch (may have cracked internally?). Is this a US Model? Australian model? The simplest things sometimes help.
