jets question

I`ve just check and my primary jets are 64 a velive this is the smaller size could this be the problem with my car

64 jets are for a 390 to 460 big block engine. If your engine is any smaller -the jetsare simply too large.

i`ve just install 60 jets and the engine dosent work then a return to the olds ones and dosent work what i did wrong
