Older Fords with Newer Wheels?
Here's one for you gear-heads with older "iron" cop cars. If one can take older 70's and 80's full-size pickup trucks and put newer bigger OEM factory wheels/tires on them when the bolt holes line up, could one per say do this with like the newer 17" or 18" steel OEM cop car wheels/tires on the older 70's cop cars like the 1970-1977 LTD/Galaxie?

All that is needed is same bolt pattern. or in some cases wheel adapters.
that is not a first choice.
But Ford is funny, they have about 5 different bolt patterns, I think currently
and for the last 20 years it's 4.5" x 5. Truck rims from Ford are usually 5.5" x 5
