Default getting fire and gas to the injectors

ok so my daughter was trying to help me out and put my battery back in my bronco but she hooked it up backwards so now it wont start it will turn over and it gets fire and its getting gas to the injectors i took the computer out from under dash and opened it up there is no burnt spots nore does it smell fried if i spray starting fluid in it it runs off that but when i stop spraying it stops running i checked the fuel pump relays and they are fine i`m at a lose pls help if it helps its a 1990 bronco with the 5.0 pls tell me what i`m missinng

I find something a little confusing and that is , it will run on starting fluid ,but not without it. And yet you say you have fuel. The better way to confirm fuel availability is to connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and see just what kind of pressure you have.
Also how did you check the fuel pump relay to determine it's OK ?
Do you get the 1-2 second operation of the fuel pump when you first turn the key on?

i found the problem the computer on right side is for 4x4 the one on driver side is fried thanks for the reply
