Question how to make an 88 ford full size bronco get better fuel mileage??

This summer I am gettin an 88 full size 4X4 bronco and was wondering what all could be done to it to get better fuel mileage. I haven't driven it and am not sure what kind of fuel mileage it gets, but any help would be awesome.

Properly sized tires, a good tune-up including a good air cleaner filter, and driving a few mph slower help a bit.

I am guessing it is a 302 or 351 and will get about 12-14mph.

If you don't already own a Ford (or Ford owned product), get one.
