I tried it several times without the engine running and the fuse didn't blow. I can't see anything having to do with trailer wiring.
There is a brown wire plugged into the fuse box and has a 12v accessory tag on it.
There aren't any power windows.
If I remember right, they replaced the signal switch.

No there's no sign of a trailer hitch or wires in the back. No wires coming to rear bumper underneath the car.
They are going to shut down the computers at 4:45 in about 15 minutes

The wire went to power windows and accs. The fuse blew with it pulled.
Is there an amp tester on a Multi-meter? The accessory tag on the wire looked factory.
You must have missed my last question about the radiator fluid leak. Where the cone shaped part comes out of the block and I believe is attached to the fan, there is a hole about 1/4" across towards the bottom. That seems to be where the fluid is coming out. Can you tell me why?
Would it be better to pull a 14' fiberglass boat with the Ford V6 or an S10 4cyl?
Thanks.

No, there are no power windows and I don't know the answer about the wire/Pw's.
Ran two wires from the fuse to a headlamp and it stayed on with both light switch positions. It stayed lit with the brown wire in and out.
There is a plastic wire holder keeping the wires off the metal hole. On the backside the wires are well wrapped in electrical tape. I looked real close and couldn't find any damaged wires. There is a 90 degree bend wrapped in tape but no rubs. The wires go up and across the top of the window to the front. Bob

Hanky,
Thought you have something else for me to check. Did you run out of solutions or did I misunderstand what you wanted me to do? The only thing I wondered about was whether I was supposed to touch the 3rd post to the headlamp. I'll be here awhile. Thanks. Bob

A little confused. Put a circuit breaker in and pull the wire going to it. Then run another wire from there to the tail light terminal of the light switch on the fuse box? Aren't they on the same fuse? Where is the tail light terminal?
