1998 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6L TRACTION CONTROL PROBLEM??
I have a problem with my 1998 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6L as I drive it if I accelerate fast it will not let me go over 50 mph and the traction control light starts to flash. It is as almost as if the the accelertor pettle is cut off. If I pull over and bring it under 30 mph and bring the acceleration up slowly it will work ok. If I turn of the traction control by pressing the trac off button in the glove compartment the car will run perfectly fine. I was told that in this year these cars have problems with the ABS modules and ECM. I replaced the ABS module and had my ECM flashed. The problem is still persisting. I have tested the traction control switch and it is working fine. The Brakes and rotors are new. There are no codes present. Anyone have any Ideas??????I need help.

this is just a shot in the dark, but have you checked your abs sensors located at each wheel. if these are coroded or covered with foreign debris it can cause problems.also check the continuity between the sensors and the module.
