Default 97 Crown Vic / no turn, hazard, brake lites

I have a 97 crown vic, turn signals out, hazards out, brake lights out.
BRAKE warning lite on dash is on. Headlights work, wipers work.
Is it the multifunction switch or light control module?

Check the stop light switch on the brake pedal first. Then the Multi-function(turn signal)switch. The lighting control module is not the problem.

what would the brake switch have to do with hazards and turn sigs?
Replaced Multi function with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

Your brake lights and turn signal bulbs are the same circuit. The multi function directs current to the solid brake light, or the flashing signals.

Makes sense, will try, but running lights are on not bright brakes. Thank You...

I had a similar problem and was told to spray some WD40 into the hazard light switch on top of steering colum and work it in and out a few times. Did just that and the problem disappeared.

Thank you very much for your post! I was able to use your solution and save myself at least 60$, the price of a new multi-function switch. My first instinct was the lighting control module which costs much more than the switch. Now I'm trying to figure out what kind of new tool to buy with the money I saved!
