1975 Ford E100 backup light switch
Hello there,
I have a 1975 Ford E100 van that I need some help on. I have found that the manual transmission vans have a backup light switch on the steering column and it shows this in the Ford shop manuals I have. But, what I haven't found is if there is a separate switch on automatic transmissions. My van doesn't have a switch located anywhere on the steering column. I do however have a neutral safety switch located on the driver's side by the transmission lever. This switch has two wires going to it. My van has an automatic transmission which I believe to be a C6. If it helps, it has a 351 Windsor engine.
My question is: does this year model have the backup light switch included in with the neutral safety switch? if not, where can I find the backup light switch on this particular model?
I have replaced the turn signal switch ( the electronic switch that is located underneath the steering wheel, not the rod that comes out from the steering column) but this only helped with the running lights and turn/emergency signals.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
