Default 1985 E 150 with dash light issue

As stated, I'm having issues with dash lights. I just got the truck and find that I either have no light, half light, or complete light on the dash. I also find that the left turn signal works, but the lighted arrow doesn't. Is there a replacement bulb for the signal? Does the dash panel come out, or is it a crawl under the dash job? Any idea what is causing the intermittent dash lighting? Thanks.

Some you were able to change the #194 bulbs without pulling the dash away and others it was easier to remove a few screws pull the dash back and replace the bulbs that way.
There was a spring clip that you could depress and remove the speedo cable. That made it easier to get to the bulbs. If they have never been touched since 1985 , it's a good bet most of the bulbs are burned out . They will have a black appearance when removed and that's how you can tell definitely that they are burned out.
Simple job and you get immediate results when you install the new bulbs.
