Does anyone know what size the rear caliper bolt is. It looks
Like a 9.5 mm hex or larger although 10 mm was too big.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Just attempted to do my rear brakes on my 2011 yesterday and used a 10mm to remove the lower bolt on my rear calipers after removing the dust caps. But the was unable to get a tool into the top caliper bolt area due to the leaf spring being in the way. Any one have a way around this obstacle other that removing the caliper bracket?

Many times what looks like a real chore to get something apart isn't as bad as first thought. It may be what seems like an extra step, but is worth the step for the additional room to work. There are times when the great tools to do a job are just not available so we do what we have to , to get the job done,,,without butchering things in the process.
