hey mr. hankey, the tester threw two codes, b 1352 ignition key circuit malfunction , also b 1342 electronic control unit malfunction anti theft.it seems you are the electronic smart person so i,ll ask you,is there an anti theft box or is it all part of the main computer???also we hear that it being a 2006 you can change computers without re-programming, is this true, anyone else with knowledge is welcome to comment, please.

The gem module has been replaced by a SJB (smart junction box). If that is malfunctioning, the entire SJB will need to be replaced since it is not serviceable.
Located behind the interior fuse panel. Replacing this component does not usually require any reprogramming.

Waking this one up . . .
What did you find?
I have a 2008 E250 Tuscany conversion (old Holiday Inn Shuttle). Great truck but hard on batteries - new one every 2 years. Can't let it sit more than 3 days on a new battery and more than 24 hours on an older one before it won't start.
I tested all of the internal fuses and found F22 to be drawing 0.65A continuously! Pulled all of the relays associated. With all relays out and the Traction Control Switch in the Off position I was still seeing 0.35A. Theoretically this is just the instrument cluster. Adding the radio back made no difference. The Acc Delay Relay made no difference. The Battery Saver relay added another 0.15A. The Interior Lamp Relay was another 0.15A. The last two relays are identical and both were warm when I pulled them out.
Is this normal? Any suggestions on what to do next before I head for the Ford dealer?
