Default is it possible

i am quite experianced in removing and replacing engines in old(classic)English cars, just a case of unbolting them and hoisting them out of the engine bay, but now my engine in my van is sick and needs either a full strip down and re-build or replacing (i have found a good engine here allthough not cheap)my van is the 86 E150 the engine is a 5.0L inj with air con, just how difficult is it to remove an Econoline engine? and is it possible to do it on your own? or is it a 2 man job?

any advice would be appreciated as my cheapest quote so far is £1500 ($3000ish)

thanks Tony

getting there, engines out, sort of smashed the roof of my garage as i used the roof support as part of a home made hoist, it worked for long enough to get the engine out !!! putting the new one in may be a little more difficult
