Default Missing seat bolts

Hello,
Just wondering if anybody else has had the same issue, and maybe a warning for others to check!
We own a 2013 Ford edge and when doing a full clean of floor mats and carpets my husband noticed the drivers seat was missing the back left bolt that holds it to the floor of the SUV! There is no evidence of threading lines or anything, so it seems as though this could have been missing since manufacturing, which is quite concerning! Has anybody else had any issues like this, or any advice on what we can do to make sure our car is safe and not missing any other vital safety pieces?! I have pictures but can't seem to be able to attach right now.
Thanks!

Thumbs up

Welcome to the site..

You bought it new?

Probably an isolated issue, but good to know and check!

Yes! Purchased brand new from dealership, only a few kilometres on it!
Was quite alarming when the back of the seat lifted right up! Hope nobody else has the same thing but can't hurt to check.
