2002 Ford Problems
I went out to my car after work and started it up. My car wouldn't come out of park and go into other gears. While waiting for my mechanic father to show up my windows failed to roll down and my gas gauge wasn't working even though I know I have gas in the vehicle. My car battery then died. My father showed up and jumped the car, we pulled the panel off the wheel and made it so I could push it and shift out of park. My theft light keeps blinking even though we have tried everything and now the car alarm wont set when we press the key and door locks hours later. While trying to move the vehicle I soon realized that none of the gauges were working.
Anyone have advice for us?

It's difficult to offer any worthwhile suggestions until we know the model , engine etc.
Different models of the same year even have different type security systems.
One thing I would suggest is to thoroughly check all the main ground connections starting right at the battery. Note; just looking at them does nothing, they need to be removed , cleaned and reassembled. This does not take that long , but is very important for the electrical systems to function properly.
