Default 2007 Escape head issues

Hi guys new to the forum have an 07 Escape 2.3 I need to do a head gasket on have been a certified tech for 35 yrs but never tackled a 2.3 .Does the eng have adjustable valves is it better to get a reman head or have mine redone I'm sure it's warped so it will need to be heated and straightened .The timing chain looks really tight trying to identify timing marks for disassembly any advice to help me on my way would be greatly appreciated very disappointed only has 73k and was well maintained so I hope this isn't the start of the dominos falling anyway thanks in advance for any help if I'm in the wrong section apologies direct me to the correct posting spot.

You need a timing peg for timing the engine back up. If you still need instructions I can send you the procedure from our workshop manual.

That would be really helpful I bought the tool set for the crank peg and cam holder waiting on the head to get here was warped #1 full of water this is a strange animal but not that bad just taking my time to get it done helping her out also need the head and cam torque specs I believe they are tty I bought new head bolts also to be on the safe side. The intake manifold was a bear going to try to install it on the head first then install it in the car. Thanks for the help all.
