Vehicle currently has 6000 miles. Shortly after we purchased the vehicle we began experiencing sudden cut in power, usually when you were pulling away from and intersection or parking lot. The lack of power left you hanging out hoping no one would run into you until it finally it picking up speed again.
The car never actually stalls but it feels like it is not getting fuel. Soon after this problem it started surging, accelerating quickly. This surging occurred after the power loss. It went into the Ford dealership as 3000 miles and they were not able to fix the problem. It now back in the dealer and has been for the past 4 days and still no fix. Is this a problem for others.

The first a dealer needs to do is VERIFY THE CONCERN. if they cannot then pretty much your gonna get your vehicle back. As much information you can provide will help tremendously. Then they will either contact ford or ask an engineer to come down and take a look at it. Without the vehicle acting up, you will not get a resolution for now. I just ran the vehicle for any known concerns from what you have described and nothing is out for those symptoms.
