hey guys, I have a 2001 ford escape with 160,000 miles 3.0 6 cylinder and im having hard starting and a loping idle when warm. The car will start if I turn the key 2-3 times and give it a little throttle. When the car is cold it starts fine and idles fine I've replaced the IAC, egr, the fuel pump hums when the key is on i cleaned the throttle body, sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and vacuum hoses no change in idle, has 17"- 15" of vacuum I finally got code which was p1451( canister vent solenoid circuit malfunction) I investigated and found a wire on the connecter was broken so I replaced the connecter cleared the code a few weeks ago and the code has not returned. Im absolutely stuck on this one and I don't want to just start replacing parts for no results so any help is greatly appreciated!
