I've never noticed a calendar... but it wouldn't surprise me. There's a known issue with the radio/MFT power buttons, and the system turning on by itself and sometimes not turning off. And the clock not keeping time, or changing times. And the entertainment system switching between modes by itself. I and others have been told by Ford that this is a 'convenience' issue that in no way impacts the safety of the vehicle. The engineers are working on a fix, but they don't know what the fix is, or when it will be available.

Twice with the newest update, I have had my clock lose its time. Appears to have remained set at the time the car was turned off? Not certain on that, but was close this morning. Last night at about 6:00pm, I turned off the car. This morning, a few minutes into my drive, I noticed it read 6:05pm....

And, we should be able to have both time and date displayed???

I didn't even know there was a date until after I saw this post. Mine was a day behind also. In the set up screen, there's a place to use the GPS automatic time feature... mine was turned off. Also a 'daylight savings time' feature... mine was turned off. Turned them both on, and in a couple minutes the date was correct. I'm not sure what either of those would have to do with date being offf... but there it is. Lots of buggy stiff in the electronics.

Default Clock - Date and Time problems

We have the 2013 Escape Titanium model and currently have 3000 km (2000 miles) on it. Overall, we are really enjoying the vehicle.

The one annoyance to date is the clock. From time to time it simply is incorrect. It doesn't sort itself out while you are driving (as some say it should). It has happened on three occasions in the little time we have had it.

The calendar is off by a day and nobody seems to have a way to adjust the calendar.

It is pretty annoying to have something as simple as a clock/calendar to be unreliable.

Read my post above. Make sure GPS and Daylight Savings Time are set to 'on'. No problems with ours since we changed those settings.

Thanks Jean. I have had the Daylight Savings Time set to 'yes' all along, but haven't found the screen where I can set the GPS - I did not get the navigation system. That said, I recall seeing a GPS screen at one time when I was playing with the system, but can't seem to find it now.

Today, the calendar seems to have caught up. Whenever the clock is a problem, it seems to be at start up, and it doesn't resolve itself until I manually reset the clock.

Thanks for the information. I will give it a try. I had set the Daylight Savings time to On and then reset the clock but, did not set the GPS feature. We left South Carolina for Florida and, were supposed to meet another party at 5:00 PM. The clock had changed the time about 1 and 1/2 hours earlier without us realizing it and, needless to say were were late.

I have had to reset the clock several times before and, had not thought to check another time source before we left. The time changes seem to be random 1 hour and 10 minutes, several hours never an even number like one hour or 12 hours.
