Can someone tell me how to install a ccrm in a 2000 escort zx2? I have the part and it doesn`t look like it can be that hard. Do I need special tools? Am I getting in over my head? I had the car checked and they seem to believe that this is the problem.

From what i rember it is pretty easy the CCRM is located under air filter. It controls cooling fan & AC compressor clutch.

 

Thanks 94! Could you give a little more info. I`m gonna try and do it myself. Looks like i`ll just need a couple of socket wrenches, undo some clips and whala! Hopefully!

The CCRM is a black box under the air filter housing next to the drivers side fender.I dont rember any other exact detail's.
