Default 2000 X 2 problems

turn signals stopped working, fuse? I do not have manual and cannot find which fuse to check, other problem maybe?

door ajar light is always on, all of a sudden, and won't go off, even though all doors seem to be all shut.

also i have seached these forums and google and cannot find where my fuse box is, i do not have the manual as well, thanks

You can usally fix the door ajar problem by spraying WD40 into the door latch mech on the door. Might have to do it a couple of time to get it to free the switch.
For the turn signals, trypushing the emergency flasher switch on and off a couple of times. It's not uncommon to get something like armorall in there which will cause the switch to fail.

These things failed on the late 90's f150/exped and the 2000 excursions.
Also, the lock actuators followed on 3 of my 5 of those trucks.
The lube is a temporary fix, usually, but may solve it until you can get parts offline.
You will want to think about replacing your door ajar sensor on the door causing the issue,
if not all of them. I did the lock actuators at the same time on my second 2000 X .
Also, it may not be a bad idea to adjust your doors - I had one act up on a mis-adjusted door one time.
