Just purchased a 2003 Expedition. Engine runs a little rough. At times, engine will not start...turns over just fine, but won't start. Checked fuses, and fuse #34 is missing. Replaced it and engine starts and runs much smoother, but it will not shut off. Removed fuse and engine shuts off. Any ideas?

 

Do you have the owner's manual for your vehicle? If so, check in the fuse section and see just what that particular fuse protects and it should provide some idea where to look for the problem.
Can you be a little more specific as to just what happens when you say it won't shut off?
Does it appear as if the windshield was or has recently been replaced and does the vehicle show any signs of wetness in the area of the extreme left side of the dash?
There have been some difficult problems to explain due to a water leak from the windshield on to some of the electronics in that area of the dash. Let us know, thanks
