Dead rear blower

Dead rear blower
Hi, I have a 2001 Ford Expedition and I am having problems with the rear blower. It just will not operate. I have replaced the following. Circuit board above the blower which appeared to be blown, the resistor next to the blower, also the (lower) console blower switch. And the blower relay just above the OBD tester plug. I have also tested for power to the console switch which shows power but when switch is turned to the rear position the power stops. All fuses have been tested and appear to be working. Mattahorn

RE: Dead rear blower
Well problem solved. First of all , I recommend to everyone try and get your hands on the Ford service manual. My problem was no power to rear auxillary blower. The manual helped me in finding my hot wire, Because the wire to the blower changes colors. Just to let you know there is an auxillary blower relay in a block/black box behind the left rear(driver side)panel under the seat belt assembly, behind the large bench. The owners manual never mentionsblower relays.Frontblower relay is above the OBD tester In a block/black box. Anyways , After tracking power to this relay via pink wire with white line I found no power to the relay. Removing the floor panels and exposing the wire harness I then removed the plastic tape covering and found the real problem ,thepink wire with white line was corroded all the way through . Cut the bad spot out connected the wire ends and we now have a working blower. Good luck everyone.[sm=americanasmiley.gif][sm=americanasmiley.gif]
