I recently bought a pr of 6x8 pioneers for my 2003 ford expedition, to put on the front but i dont know how to install since the door covers dont just pop off need help removing and installing

 

Pull the sides loose, but NOT the bottom. The bottom lifts up to release both the bottom and the top at the same time once the sides are loose.

 

1. Remove the window control switch plate. Use 'service notch' and disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. Remove the door handle bezelusing 'service notch'.

3. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the door trim panel, lift the door trim panel by pulling directly upward on the armrest to disengage the panel clips.

4. Remove the two bolts and three screws, and remove the door trim panel by first removing the finish cover to access the two center screws. Remove the remaining screws as shown.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
