So I am on my third paint job on this 2001 Expedition painted bumper. There must be about 300 or more tiny rock chips on it that have started to turn red from the rust. The red color looks hideous against the silver paint. Ford painted under warranty the first time, the other time I had to pay about $145. I would like to know if there is a "bra" or covering I can use while driving on the interstate that will prevent this rock chip phenomonon from happening again. Any ideas?

 

I had the bumper painted by my mechanic for $100. So far its holding up great.
