Default 05 sporttrac overheated, now won't start

so my 05 sporttrac suddenly overheated going down the highway Monday. I pulled over to let it cool, radiator was low reservoir was empty. no smoke just some steam coming up from passenger side in front of the engine. After letting it cool down, it would not start so had it towed back home. Now it still won't start. Engine does crank, but seems like its not getting fuel. almost like a stuck choke on my old truck. Any ideas? I did disconnect the battery to reset the computer incase it had to do with that.

pull a spark plug on each bank and have a look for coolant in the cylinder...maybe the headgasket blew from the overheat condition?

I have a videoscope that I put in the spark plug hole....usually I see some colour in there that matches the coolant. it would be hard to see with the naked eye.
