Default 1997 Explorer fuel pump electrical connector

The problem:

No power getting to fuel pump. Tested relays, fuel cut off switch, fuses etc.

Apparently no power is getting from fuel cut off switch (passenger side floor) to electrical connector in left frame rail.

There are 3 pins in the connector (frame rail), the two "outside pins" show 4 - 5 volts. The center pin does not show volts.

All discussions indicate a Black/Pink wire which doesn't appear in the connector.

Need a list of the wires going into the connector and what they do.

Which engine?

Regardless, the pump motor voltage feed is on a PK/BK wire.. Think there is a 4 wire connector for 5.0, and 7 for 4.0's with the Press/transducer. Whats the wire color and tracer on the 3 wire connector your testing? If you don't have a voltage at the inertia, pull the fuel relay and check for 12v on the #85 terminal (key on), and then for a battery voltage (hot at all times) on the #30 terminal.. The terminal configuration is on the relay.. If you have 12v on the #30, bridge the #30 to #87 and that will run power direct from the power distribution box/battery to the inertia, and to the pump connector/pump if the inertia is closed.. If you have no voltage on the #30 terminal double check the fuse for a 'voltage' present at both sides.. Not sure, would have to check, but the earlier Exporers got their key on/#85 voltage through a closed PCM relay.. Either way, bridging the 30/87 should at least complete the power feed on down and run the pump if the fuse is good, and the motor itself proves out..
