Default 5.0 4r70w Swapped front seal now doesn't move.

I bought a 97 explorer AWD 5.0 with very low mileage for $1200. The previous owner thought it would need a rebuild since it was 'pissing' tranny fluid out the inspection hole on the bell housing. I dropped the tranny and replace the 4$ seal, reinstalled the tranny. While it was down, I drained the torque converter, replaced the pan gasket and filter; thus draining a lot of fluid. I filled it with the recommended 5 quarts. Started the truck and did a celebratory cabbage patch dance in the driveway while calling people to say it worked and there was no more leaks.... until I put it in drive and it went no where.

Truck doesn't go forward or backward. After wiggling some electrical harnesses I got the truck to move very slowly forward at 2000rpm but nothing in reverse and nothing when I shifted back to drive from reverse. I'm worried that Even though I made sure the torque converter was on the tranny while jacking into place, I may have threaded it on the stationary shaft and not all the way onto the pump shaft in the middle. It did make a wierd noise during initial startup for 30 seconds.

I've tried adjusting fluid levels, checking fuses, wiggling wires, and a few other things also. What the hey there is going on here?
